Welcome to Johnsgirl Bags
Hello, my name is Agnes Clarke and I run a non-profit charity dedicated to making stylish and economical bags, all proceeds of which go to four specific chosen charities.
My bags for charity are professionally made from top quality fabric and are all fully lined, strong and practical, with strengthened handles.
Since 2010, I have sold hundreds of bags of all different colour and style. Each design is original and individual so why not give them a try!
All proceeds go to the Charities listed.
Prices start at £5 for totes and shoppers, £10 & £15 for handbags with internal pockets and £25 for weekend/ nappy/craft bags which also have pockets inside and out and a large zipper pocket at the back again all fully lined with coordinating fabric (examples below and at at my Facebook Gallery. Thanks to the kindness of my niece and local donors who generously donate the fabric I can keep my prices low.
History of Johnsgirl Bags
In 2010, I started making bags of all descriptions as a way of making money for my four chosen charities – Diabetes research, Cystic Fibrosis research – unfortunately these are associated with some members of my family circle – as well as the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance and the Northern Ireland Lifeboats.
All of the money raised is counted and sent to the charities listed at the end of each year. I would like to sincerely thank all my supporters and I have also made a change to pricing all shoppers and handbag types will be £5 each plus postage unless otherwise stated as with special orders, the nappy / craft bags are £20 each plus postage. I have made a range of containers which sell at £10 each plus postage. Again my grateful thanks to Lesley for her continued support in donating the off cuts from her curtain business.
